Feel free to follow my current and future adventures in the "Travel" section of this site.

For an introduction to Global Education or to review my latest thoughts and research, explore the "Think" section.

And if you are an educator who is looking to globalize your classroom, I invite you to peruse the resources listed throughout the "Teach" section.

Taking Steps Toward Going Global:

While most of us already know how to be good citizens of our local community, do we really know how to be good citizens of earth, stewards of our planet, and cognizant of other cultures?   How do we currently care for the land, plants, animals, and humans that are beyond our communities, our state, or our country?

My name is Tracie Kirven, and I'm a language teacher at Buffalo High School in Buffalo, WY. I hope to use this site to lend new perspectives to others.  Through discussion of education, innovation, and travel, perhaps we can break through our borders and become better global citizens together!

Note: This website represents the opinions of Tracie Kirven, and was originally made for the Teachers for Global Classrooms fellowship. It is not an official U.S. Department of State website.
